Maine Cancer Foundation meets the remaining 18 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Maine Cancer Foundation (MCF) reports that it works to reduce the number of individuals affected by cancer in the state of Maine through the distribution of grants to programs that implement cancer prevention, early screening, and patient programs that reduce the incidence and mortality rates of cancer. The organization also engages in coalition building across Maine to improve cancer-related systems offered within the state. In 2019, MCF states that it invested more than two million dollars in 15 patient navigation programs statewide and connected more than 5,000 individuals with cancer care resources.
