Stated Purpose
"to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through life-changing programs and experiences that help girls navigate gender, economic and social barriers."
Girls Inc. reports that they provide consultation, training and financial support to its affiliates across the U.S. and Canada so that they can grow the number of girls they serve each year. The organization and its affiliates provide research-based curricula, delivered by trained, mentoring professionals in a positive all-girl environment to equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. The organization is currently engaged in a multi-year project to measure the impact the Girls Inc. programs have on the lives of the girls served.
