Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation (IALF) serves as a resource for educators and volunteers who want to teach Iowa?s students about agriculture. The organization provides summer and professional development workshops, STEM festivals across the state, and produces the magazines Iowa Ag Today and My Family's Farm to make agriculture accessible and teach technical skills in agricultural production. IALF's educational programs also include classroom presentations, community outreach events, volunteer training, curricula development for teachers, and student publication development. In 2020, IALF reports impacting more than 300,000 students and trained more than 3,100 teachers to incorporate agriculture in the classroom curriculum. In addition, IALF states that it distributed its Iowa Ag Today publication to more than 1,800 classrooms and developed more than 180 lesson plans for grades PK-12 on its website.
