One Percent for the Planet (One Percent) reports that it administers and promotes programs that encourage contributions to environmental preservation organizations. The organization manages an association whose members commit to donating at least one percent of their annual revenues to approved third party not-for-profit organizations. One Percent also reports that it markets the "1% for the Planet" brand, builds and maintains partnerships to extend their mission, adds new members to the organization, and certifies member giving. Furthermore, One Percent advises its members on giving strategies, certifies the impact of members' donations, and amplifies the impact of their network. One Percent's network consists of more than 3,500 business members, individual members, and nonprofit partners in more than 90 countries. In 2019, the organization reports that it certified $27.2 million member donations, increased its member network by 1,537 businesses and individuals, and supported 1,841 vetted nonprofit partners.
