Friends Without a Border (FWAB) promotes sustainable solutions to health care in developing countries through the model of Treatment + Education + Prevention. The organization aims to provide high-quality medical care to children in a compassionate environment; educate families and health care professionals throughout Southeast Asia; and improve the health, nutrition, and hygiene of local communities through outreach programs and home care. FWAB also operates the Lao Friends Hospital for Children which has an outpatient department, surgical theater, thalassemia and development clinics, and a neonatal unit.
