Mental Health America (MHA) promotes mental health, including prevention services for all; early identification and intervention for those at risk; integrated care, services, and support for those who need them; with recovery as the goal. The organization provides national programming for mental health, public education materials, online mental health screening, and peer support and services. MHA reports that it also advocates for Americans with mental health conditions and for workplaces to pay attention to mental health. In 2020, the organization reports that nearly 2,700,000 people completed a free online mental health screening at MHAScreening.org and 77 million people were reached by its Mental Health Month public education campaign.
