Giraffe Heroes Project meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Giraffe Heroes Project (GHP) aims to honor real heroes and tell their stories to inspire people to action. The organization finds Giraffe Heroes, writes and edits their inspiring stories, and puts those stories into a searchable web database. The organization reports that it found and told the stories of 79 new Giraffe Heroes in 2021. GHP's outreach program brings stories and skills to global audiences through traditional and social media and on the organization's website. GHP's Giraffe Heroes International coordinates a worldwide Giraffe Heroes movement with affiliates in Nepal, India, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Argentina. The organization's civic engagement programs include training programs and locations that build civic engagement skills, and a K-12 curriculum striving to help kids build lives as courageous and compassionate citizens.
