Spending should be no more than 35% of related contributions on fund raising. Related contributions include donations, legacies, and other gifts received as a result of fund raising efforts.

Disabled Veterans National Foundation meets the remaining 13 Standards for Charity Accountability.
The Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) offers a health and comfort program and capacity building grants, through which the veteran and nonprofit communities are served. The organization's distributes comfort kits to veterans across the country which include health and hygiene, clothing, and other items. The contents of the comfort kits vary based on our inventory, but DVNF strives to include items such as shampoo and conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, deodorant, a t-shirt, a pair of socks, sunscreen, and bandages. DVNF's capacity building grant program provides grants to like-minded organizations who provide support to veterans and disabled veterans alike. The grants are awarded to organizations around the country who are addressing the mental and physical recovery of veterans through programs including: service dogs, equine therapy, yoga, art therapy, and recreational therapy. Most ($3,325,595 or 69%) of DVNF's programs are conducted in conjunction with informational materials that include fundraising appeals.
